X-RAY TECHNICIAN
Description
The X-Ray Technician course is a subset of the Radiology department and is mostly taken independently as a Diploma course. The program covers both clinical and administrative skills along with hands-on training in radiology and laboratory tests.
Training Objectives
Students will be trained to:
- Use X-Ray equipment to create images of a patient’s internal anatomy.
- Assist doctors in diagnosing illnesses and injuries.
- Comply with safety regulations for handling X-Ray equipment.
Admission Requirements
Five (5) credit passes in:
- NECO/WAEC, including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at not more than two sittings.
- Duration: The course duration is 3 years (Six Semesters).
